Neuroscience for the relationships that shape us

Brain health is shaped in relationship.

I translate developmental and clinical neuroscience into practical, culturally responsive strategies for healthier families, teams, and communities.

Dr. Edith Brignoni, neuroscientist and brain health specialist
15+years studying human development and brain health

Meet Dr. Edith

Rigorous neuroscience.
A deeply human lens.

Dr. Edith Brignoni is a developmental cognitive and clinical neuroscientist, educator, consultant, communicator, and founder of Baby Abrazo.

Her work examines how early caregiving, stress, language, culture, and social environments shape the developing brain; how caregiving and parenthood shape the brains of mothers, fathers, and other caregivers; and how this knowledge can support healthier lives and relationships beyond the laboratory.

Dr. Brignoni earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her postdoctoral work at Stanford University School of Medicine. Her experience spans academic research, federal health programs, university teaching, community education, and bilingual family brain health innovation and application.

Across every setting, Dr. Brignoni’s purpose is consistent: to protect the integrity of the science while making it understandable, relevant, and possible to act on to improve and maintain optimal health for every family.
